About the Adelaide Metropolitan Netball Division

The Adelaide Metropolitan Netball Division is the largest and strongest competition operated on a Saturday through the months April to September. Approximately 300 teams play at ETSA Park on the indoor and outdoor courts. All teams are rostered to the indoor stadium.

We have 25 clubs including the State League clubs- Duncan Basheer Hannon Cougars, ETSA Contax, Hills Cheerio Eagles, Webber & Associates Garville, Central District Harlequin, Spring Gully/ HMNS Jaguars, Oakdale, Bluewater Matrics, Tango and Woods Panthers.

We have a modified game for the 9 & Under players at 9.00am each week. These players pay full fees of $39.00 to Netball SA. They play with a smaller ball, shorter goal posts and do not play finals. Each player receives a medallion to say she has played in that grade during the year.

Each age group plays at a specific time, with the seniors playing at alternate time slots of 2.00pm and 3.30pm each week.

Adelaide Metropolitan was the South Australian Netball Association prior to 1978 when Netball SA adopted a new Constitution to incorporate its entire members on the governing body for the State.

Each player registers with Netball SA through the division and pays an entry fee to enter the stadium each week. All players love the opportunity to play indoors on the world class wooden sprung floors of ETSA Park.

Umpires
Each team supplies an umpire to umpire their own team. Sapphire League (A1), A2 and Intermediate 1 have neutral badged umpires allotted to the games by the Umpire's Allocation Panel.
